With the ambition of becoming the hotspot of Muscat, capital of Oman, conceived and designed for true sports fans, The Countdown restaurant and bar is a space entirely dedicated to its culture, which promises to provide an experience for all its customers. With a welcoming atmosphere and retro, vintage and industrial influences, this is the ideal place to gather friends and watch the best games and competitions during both day and night time.
Designed to be the new entertaining space, The Countdown has predominantly dark colours, particularly black, brown, grey and beige. Among concrete, wood, steel and leather, we have created a warm atmosphere, a contemporary version of the typical English sports bar.
The project is divided into different interior and exterior areas that allow different experiences to the client.
Key piece of the restaurant and bar, the counter defines the indoor stadium, located in the centre of the space, in an area with high tables, arranged in order to privilege the view of the big screens, and a sound system designed to give the client the feeling of being in a stadium. The conviviality between supporters is elevated to the exponent and the division imposed by the building structure allows us to imagine the rival fans cheering during the final competition!
The dining areas maximize the comfort of this sportsbar, included in the complex of a 5-star hotel, with large tables and faux leather upholstered chairs in which, regardless of where you are sitting, you will always have a television view.
For those looking for maximum comfort, it was created a lounge area with sofas, benches and coffee tables. Larger groups will also be able to enjoy an intimate experience in a private and exclusive room.
The restaurant exterior provides to the customers an experience of comfort and fun. To support the large outdoor TV’s, distinctive outdoor furniture was chosen, with a contemporary image and industrial influences, reinvented director’s chairs, chosen to combine with the more rustic wooden furniture, and sofas with large cushions, fill the space and bring comfort to the extreme.
