SOCIAL INNOVATION CENTER

This project was also commissioned by the city hall, and the initial idea, by the municipality, was the rehabilitation of an existing building in the city center. However, as the process progressed, an adjoining building was also proposed to house rooms for social entrepreneurship, and later, an auditorium and a public square that connects these three buildings and opens the intervention through the city.

It was a project in constant evolution and mutation, that was shaping the city and its arteries. The two new proposed buildings tend to adapt their shapes, through the existing houses. These organic forms, search for new connections between the city center and a public park in its surroundings. We use limestone throughout the exterior pavement, which for once, wraps the walls of the proposed buildings, till the height of the openings.
