Architecture
Projects

Architecture is the formal expression of intervention through volumes, materials, textures, light and space, in the unbuilt environment, creating new atmospheres and new ways of inhabit, through its function.

How long can an architectural project take?

The length of time spent on a project depends on its size, complexity and location.

We will need to come out to have a meeting first, to discuss client requirements.

After that we will prepare a sketch design. Usually, a larger project will have a more complex brief and therefore the development of architectural drawings takes longer.

In the process, we all must consider the time spent by the Planning authority, to consider our design proposal.

What are the main stages of an architecture project?

Brief Development

The planning of your project starts here. Together with our architects, you will share your project needs, dreams and goals.

Design Development

Here we will agree the schematic design.

For a clearer definition of the scope and quality of the finished project, cost projections will determine how closely the design conforms to the budget expectations.

The schematic design is required to obtain the building permits.

Schematic Design

At this stage our architect will prepare a preliminary design sketches based on your requirements and budget.

After exploring and illustrate possible options, our architects will review the options with you, pointing out the merits and responding to your input.

Construction Documents

When the design concepts is decided, the architect will prepare work drawings and specifications.

These are required to make a more accurate document, and to guide the contractor in construction.

Bidding and Negotiation

Our architects can advise you on your choice of contractor.

Construction and Contract Administration

Our architect will consult with you and advise you during construction.

On-site visits will determine if construction is proceeding in general accordance with the contract, and that the design, materials, and workmanship meet with acceptable standards.

… And how much can it cost?

Architects fees depend on the size, type and quality of the project that a client requires.

Fees vary for many different reasons, as for location, program specifics, volumetric complexity, yet as with most services, the fee generally reflects the level of service provided and the quality of the completed building, therefore, the cost of an architect should be considered in conjunction with the value that the particular practice is able to add to a project.

Normally, in every project we design, we define all the stages of the project, fully described, with the resume of percentages per phase.

Our team of architects are all committed to bring to you the best solution possible, represented by a Project Manager, that will guide you through all the process although, every element of the team is involved in all phases of the project.
